Clare Mitchell of JPMorgan Chase will share trends, and offer best practices to protect yourself and your organization against the ever-growing realm of cybercrimes and fraud.

Clare Mitchell, Executive Director, Cybersecurity & Technology Controls, JPMorgan Chase & Co.


Clare is an Executive Director for the J.P. Morgan Chase Commercial Banking Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization. She is responsible for a team of information security professionals managing technology and operational risk programs, third party oversight and oversees the integration of strategic firm wide controls programs. Clare also serves as the Information Security Manager for the Commercial Banking Architecture and Engineering organization, overseeing cloud adoption strategy and ensuring ongoing implementation and monitoring of firm wide controls and standards.

Clare has been working within Technology at J.P. Morgan Chase for 15+ years and focusing on Cybersecurity and Technology Controls across multiple lines of business for the last 10 years. Prior to her current role, she managed end user and privileged access provisioning for the Corporate Investment Bank and more recently she was the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery lead for Corporate Technology.

She holds several industry certifications including CISSP and ITIL and serves as a speaker for the award-winning JPMorgan Chase Cyberkidz program which aims to teach cyber safety to children and parents in local communities.

Clare relocated from the UK to the United States in 2017 and lives in the city of Chicago with her husband Kenny and their two children. They enjoy traveling and exploring the United States; especially taking long road trips and camping.
