San Diego Regional Economic Update
Dr. Stephanie Guichard of the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) will present a general economic update with a specific focus
on the San Diego region.

Dr. Guichard is a senior economist at SANDAG, the Association of Governments that serves as the forum for regional decision-making for the San Diego region. In this role, she leads the development of economic models and analysis in support of regional policies, plans and programs. Prior to joining SANDAG in 2019, Dr. Guichard taught Economics as a lecturer at the University of San Diego and UC San Diego while working as an independent economic consultant. Dr. Guichard also worked as a senior economic policy adviser at the OECD from 2002 to 2016 as well as an economist at the IMF, the French Treasury and Societe Generale. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bordeaux (France). She has published economic research on a wide range of issues including international capital flows, labor market and fiscal policy issues.
