Rene Schuurman is a global product manager for CashPro API in Bank of America’s Global Transaction Services division. He has global product responsibility for portfolio management, strategic partnerships, and complex integration requests for all segments and markets. He is currently a board member of Afinis, a membership-based organization that develops standardized APIs, and a member of Financial Data Exchange (FDX).
Prior to joining Bank of America, Rene worked at Citi, ABN AMRO Bank and Capgemini Consulting in Utrecht, the Netherlands where he has held roles in project management, client implementations, business architecture, and product management. He has been previously a member of various standard governing bodies such as the PAY SEG and the Common Global Implementation workgroup, as well as the ISO20022 CGI mapping group.
Rene graduated from the Polytechnic University of Amsterdam with a Bachelor of Science in International Finance and Business Administration.
